Our client is an independent mobile media and technology company.
We are looking for a Technical Manager SOA/Web.
Technical Manager is responsible of managing technical risks and opportunities: making key software design and implementation decisions with the development teams; scheduling of tasks including tracking dependencies, managing change requests, and guaranteeing quality of deliveries; and educating the team on technical best practices.
Skills & Knowledge:
- B.S Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering
- At least 10 years of IT experience, with a strong track record of delivery.
- 2+ years experience in a people management role (including coaching, performance management, etc.).
- Strong team player with good English written and verbal communication skills
- Customer facing and relationship management.
- Familiarity with common software development methodologies, and related software tools, including exposure to integration and user-acceptance testing.
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills.
- Technical knowledge (desirable ¿ not essential).
• Prior experience defining and working within a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web services development environment
• Knowledge of one or more open source software products ¿ ESB Progress Sonic, jBilling, ActiveMQ, IBATIS, AXIS2
• Knowledge in mobile sector (content, formats, tools) is a plus
• Experience in the development of end to end BSS/OSS solution architecture for telecom enterprise customer products and services (either Voice or Data) highly desired
• Functional areas of experience should include Order Entry and Order Management, Provisioning, Billing and PSP Integration, CRM and Customer Trouble Management, Customer self-care portal
